RURAL
Pulau Indah is an island off the west coast of Selangor, Malaysia. The West Port of Port Klang is located here. It was formerly known as Pulau Lumut. Jalan Sidang Mohd Nor, Pulau Indah is our choice of site for rural area. It shows a lot of natural landscape.
SUBURBAN
Shah Alam is the state capital of Selangor, Malaysia situated within the Petaling District and a small portion of the neighbouring Klang District. Seksyen 9 is the choice of our group for suburban area. The theme of seksyen 9 is Sultanate Selangor, they have balance natural and man made landscape.
URBAN
Bukit Bintang is the name of the shopping and entertainment district of KL, Malaysia. It encompasses Jalan Bukit Bintang and its immediate surrounding areas. The area has many landmark shopping centres, swanky bars, night markets, as well as hawker-type eateries. We had chose Jalan Sultan Ismail as our site for urban area. It shows more on man made landscape.
After the site visit, we have to do a report showing our understandings towards the visits to rural, suburban and urban area. Every area should be further explain on 5 topics, which are landscape, buildings, space, nature and infrastructure. There are 5 members in our group, so we divided our parts before we go on to site visit, I was assigned to be in charge of the landscape of the sites we will be visiting.
We decided to go to Pulau Indah first since it's a bit far from our area so we need to organized our transport, a lot of planning and researches should be done beforehand since our group members are all from other states except Amanda, we can't really go by driving on ourselves, so we called the other groups which are also going to Pulau Indah to go together with us by renting a van. The other 2 groups was so glad that we called them since they are also worrying about the transport, now that the problem solved, we can plan our role on taking pictures and writing down our details since we had already divided our parts.
When we arrived at Pulau Indah, we were amazed because the place really looked natural since all we can see were greens, the roads are straight until we cannot see the end, cows and goats are everywhere, it is more village-liked compare to cities. There is a specific site we had chose which is Jalan Sidang Mohd Nor, we took pictures around that area and started to jotting down the details.
