For this essay, we have to choose one task out of three, I've chose the cause and effect essay which topic is using recycled items as building materials. In primary school, we just need to study the essay format and use easy vocabulary, in secondary we just need to improve our vocabulary and correct our grammar. To reach university requirements, we need a lot of improvements for our vocabulary and no grammar mistakes are suppose to be found. To me, English is not too hard, I can write and speak, but not perfect. I personally love to write facts essay because I do not have to creativity in creating stories so I always do better in facts essay. I've done some researches on the topic before I start to do the pre-writing for the essay. Basically, these kind of facts essay needs a lot of information before you could start to do anything, so I study a lot of information before I start. Later on, I'm still not sure if my informations are correct, so I consulted our lecturer, Ms. Thivilojana. She is helpful enough to help me look through all the notes I'd done and point out the mistakes and give me advices to ensure I write my essay correctly.
Doing this assignment, I'd learn more about the buildings' materials and gain more knowledge, it will also helps in my future career since an architect needs to have the ability to explain and elaborate.
After this assignment, I have found out that I still need a lot of improvement, I'm still very weak in my grammar and also vocabulary, so all I need is practice, practice and practice.
